View Full Version : *Cleaner* wax after polish?
Is it OK to use CLEANER wax after using a polish, or will this counter-act effects of the polish? Might seem like a stupid question, but I wasn`t sure on this one.

polish in terms of a cutting abrasive, it would be ok.
polish in terms of a wax or glaze, you would be stripping of that layer underneath, conunterproductive.

I used to do this all the time. No problem - go right ahead.
Don`t forget that some cleaner waxes offer better wax protection and others offer more cleaning power. It all depends on the product; no two are the same.

You can use a cleaner wax after doing a polish. There is no harm in doing it.
A cleaner wax might not last as long as a pure synethic though. Really depends on the cleaner wax you use though.
