Wash Bucket

What kind of wash bucket do you guys use? Just a plain old bucket? I was wondering if there was some kind of bucket with compartments or pockets on the outside to put accessories and bottles.

Meguiar`s makes a bucket kind of like that. I`ll bet that Griots makes one too. I just use a bucket I got from Target. Its a nice one. Its got a little groove in the bottom so you can pour it out easier.



I don`t know that I`d want a bucket with all kinds of pockets permenantly attached to it though. The suds and water sloshing all over the place might get a little annoying to clean out of there. Just a thought. I`ve seen the Meguiar`s one and it looks like its removable.

I use the same old gray plastic bucket I`ve had forever. It`s only been used for car washes. The handle broke off a few years ago and I have to carry it by the rim...but it holds water.

It looks like the bucket is sperate and the other thing is just a product bucket on wheels. I wouldn`t mind one of those actually. Get a leash or something so you can drag it around. It would be a good place to put MFs and QDs and stuff while you are going around the car doing the detail work other than polishing and washing.

They are stackable. I think I`ll buy two and put smaller things on the bottom, like applicators and use the one on top for cleaners, polishes, and waxes. When it`s time to wash the car, I just carry the whole bucket out and pull the trays out.



They also have belts that go round the outside of the bucket but I would have to remove it each time I wash my car so it wouldn`t get wet.

Just a plain old two bit bucket, don`t leak and that good enough for this country boy.;)

I have diff buckets for diff areas of car. totaling 3, wheels-underbody, top half, lower half.



all theses are big deep 1.5 gallon buckets.

I have a regular blue bucket that`s been with me forever. I also have a black one that I got from Walmart. It`s the same one they sell at Target, but at a cheaper price.

I use either 5 gallon half circle buckets from target or 5 gallon paint buckets(clean, never used for paint).

A 5 gallon orange plastic paint bucket from Home Depot that is only used for car washing.

I use the bucket that came with the Mercedes Car Care Kit that Meguiars makes. I`m sure bjwebster knows what I`m talkin about. It`s got those removable pouches on the side and it came with the little bucket seat too. I don`t use the Meguiars products anymore, but the bucket is pretty nice.

I use a few 5 gol old Bukets I got from a donut shop for other cars and My Griots one for the Satty and the SS.

I use a separate 5 galon bucket from Lowes for each soap I use (Z7, Meg`s Gold Class, Dawn) - that way I`m not mixing detergents (just incase...)



I don`t personally use the "2-bucket" method, I just have a bucket for soap and use the hose sprayer to rinse the wash mitt out as well as rinse the car off.... works better for me.

I was at pepboys and they just gave me a free bucket. A nice big 5 gallon one. Been using it ever since. It is actually starting to turn pink because it is out in the sun everyday :P

comparison shopping for buckets. Never done that one.



I comparison shop for everything else though.
