I just detailed my brown F-150 and used three of my CMA pads, can I detail my black cobra with those same pads, or is that some kind of color contamination?

You can after it`s been thoroughly washed.

Just trying to get everything down before I start my real detailing job, the car. Thanks.

Yep, I use the same pads on many different cars.

I like to soak them in warm water for awhile. I then rinse them out very well until the water is coming out almost clear. I don`t bend the pads at all. Instead I put my hand on either side and press it together. Bending seems to make the velcro back on them tear away easily.

Shake as much water off the pads as you can and let air dry. Sometimes I put a towel on the it press on the pad to squeeze some of the water out.

Good as new... well almost good as new :D

The one thing is you can`t Mix products on the pads. i.e. don`t use a wax on a pad you used to polish with.
