If I only had taken some befores, this red Jaguar had towel marks on every inch of the paint.

THe car was not compounded but polished with the cyclo 2X. Finally, a layer of Souvern was added. I guess you can say this is my quicker method of detailing a car as it saves much time had i done a cc compound, polish, followed by a sealer instead. Ok, I know the tires are not shiny but I did purchase a sample of EO and an applicator for the customer. Not to mention the $10 gas I wasn`t reimbursed.

A bit on the hazy side.

Any tips about how to polish better are appreciated.

Now that`s a real Jaguar. Why did Ford ruin such a classy looking car. :nixweiss

So true, but this classic design was in place prior to Ford`s acquisition ( majority) of Jaquar:nixweiss :wavey

Actually that design was introduced in 1995 model year, that`s 5 years after Ford`s purchase of Jaguar.

Beautiful! I can not tell that it is hazy from the picture. Some waxes are more reflective but this is a deeper gloss. I like it. I like the deeper gloss on the dark colors and the reflective can really pop on metallic paint.

It would be nice to have some input from others that use a different type wax on different paint surfaces and why?

That Mesh Grill And Painted Chrome Are Tell-Tale Signs Of Being A XJR, Most Colors Have The Painted Chrome, Some Dont.

Rightlane:

I still think the car is a little hazy. For that reason only, I chose a Pinnacle caranuba over a synthetic sealer. Souveran seems to add a little richness and glow.

On this GMC I used a sealer. I thought the paint was a little washed-out so, I tried a Souveran topper and it did add a degree of richness, once again. In my experience, if a vehicle is hazy it can`t hurt to add a little gloss. Unfortuneatly, in the end, the finish under all the wax is what really counts.

I too would relish some intelligent advice about variances in product selection and proper machine operation.

Ryan-

You recently posted a picture of that silver Acura, right? That car was incredible. Incredible. I can still picture it in my mind.
