Hi everyone. someone mentioned this site, so id thought id join.



I am from england, and love my car. just got into cleaning it properly, and after the respray gonna keep it in the best condition i can. heres a pic of it at the mo.



theres some very useful info on here, which ivealready put into practice. and ive got myself the meguiars scratch x and 3stage kit. so i`ll be nive and busy.

If you have had a respray done, you may need to let it cure before applying wax products. Ask the shop that did the respray. If it`s been more than three months, you should be safe. Good luck!

I dont really like my car, and wish i had the $$$ to buy something else, but I take pride in it and want to keep it looking its best! Lol.....

my car hasnt had a respray yet, im waiting to get some more stuff finished on it then doing it. But yeah, i will ask em about curing. does that mean the paint will be softer, and more easily pick up stone chips etc in the first 3 months?

Why the respray, do you have paint problems or just fancy a change.

Im getting the respray in the same colour,but ive got a new bonnet, new boot, new side skirts, and am taking all the locks and indicators off the car, and a new spoiler and grill and rear bumper, so its as cheap to have the car resprayed as the bits!



and of course, once its new paint it will be sooooooo much easier to clean.

Cheeky! Wait till trax, the cars been through a two week cleaning regime already and it looks so much better than Pugfest! All the underbodys now clean! Ficshed painting the barkes etc and its had loads of Meguirs show car glaze! Might clay, paint clean it all and statrt again fresh ready for trax now though!
