Hi guys, I just bought a PC 7336SP from Lowes. What`s the washer like thing that came in the packet with the instructions? It`s about half an inch in diameter. Thanks.

Ug, I lost mine. But I think it`s some kind of spacer for the pad or pad holder.

I needed the washer so that I had enough space to get the wrench behind the backing plate for removal.

So I don`t really need it for normal polishing and can afford to lose it?
I can`t wait to give this thing a try!

So is the washer for the polishing pad that comes with the PC or for other backing plates? I just picked mine up last night and went through the manual three times trying to figure out what that washer is for.
You can get the wrench under the backing plate to problem even with the spacer. I never realized that`s what it was for!

I think I will try it with my CMA backing plate tonight to see if it makes a difference one way or the other.

Ok, I will put that on with the handle now!!! Why don`t they put that in the manual? :rolleyes:
