Any PC involved?

Thanks for your replys! No PC used here. #26 is easy enough by hand, but I spent maybe 3 hours hand-rubbing #9 2.0 into the panels with a foam pad and removed at least 90% of the swirls in the paint. It was my first time using #9 and I`m certain I would have removed all the swirls (swirling was only minor to begin with) by hand application if I spent another 3 hours. Any doubts about getting a PC have been eliminated after this exercise. :doh

car looks good. do you have any more pics?

i love the MX-6`s. In fact, in 1998, when I was looking to buy a car, I was looking for an MX-6 LS 5sp. But couldn`t find one worth buying at the time. So I went with the next closest thing - the 1996 Contour SE 5sp. Had the Duratec (which was a plus) but everything else - including two more doors! I really loved the way the MX-6 handled....especially compared to my Contour - stock vs. stock, MX-6 won hands down. So I had to go and redo my suspension - it just wasn`t the same.

I would love to see more pics if you have any more. Your car looks awesome so far!!!! :bow

if you don`t want to post anymore, you can email them to me at tour96se - at - attbi - dot - com.

Thanks for your comments, GR8SVT. It is unfortunate that Mazda cancelled production of the MX-6 after 1997. I`ve owned mine since 1993 (original owner) and I still like driving it to this day. The long wheel base prevents it from handling like a BMW 3-series, but the stock leather seats are the most comfortable seats I`ve ever driven in, thus making it my favourite car for long road trips. Right now, I`m trying to come up with some new ideas for more pictures. I don`t have too many at the moment, but I`ll share what I have below. BTW, my suspension has been upgraded and allows the car to sit a little lower than stock (with the aid of Ground Control coilovers and Tokico adjustable struts).
