After 5 years of using Leather and plastic cleaner by Malco I am ready to try something better. The product I am searching for needs to be residue free. I mean that it won`t leave behind crud in the cracks. For instance on my VW Jettas` black dash.

Is there a product that can accomplish this?

303 (preferred) or Vinylex (Lexol`s plastic product), applied with MF is great! I think 303 is a little bit less "milky" than Vinylex, but both are good. I get my 303 at a marine supply store, so get creative and you can pick it up locally.

Remember to keep these products well clear of your instrument panel--use Plexus for the clear plastic and you`ll be loving it!

Good luck!

I got some on my radio face (the clear part that displays the frequency - its a stock mid 90`s ford issue) and it made it almost cloudy looking.
