I was wondering if there was any major way that computers or technology are incorporated into the business of detailing. Im not talking about customer databases or financial records... but are there any IT applicatoins out there that are used? Are there any needs that can be filled?

just a computer nerd looking for his niche

only thing I can think of is to make a web site for a business. You can include features that enable a user to request to be contacted or make an appointment to have work done. Thats all I can think of though...

Not really anything I can think of... 98% of detailing business is labor not done on a computer... doing the work, stocking chemicals, calling customers, advertising, etc.

Only thing I use my computer for is flyers (Pagemaker), My webpage (Macromedia Dreamweaver), and the books (quickbooks)
