I need to get a clay bar, and the only thing i can find is the mothers kit (the one with a clar bar, carnuba wax, and quick wax) for like 15 bucks..... is there anywhere i can just buy a clay bar???

You can order them online from whoever you want but at retail all you`ll find is the bars with the lubricants. Check out Auto Zone for the Clay Magic bar - $10 for one bar and lubricant. About as cheap as you`ll find at retail.

www.eastwoodco.com has 3.5oz bars for $12.99 or a kit for $19.99. Pretty comprable price to the claymagic I suppose. Type clay in the search window and it will pull it up.

True, it is cheaper, but I was trying to suggest a bigger bar size. Mothers only gives an 80gram bar (2.8oz) versus the 100gram bars others give.

If interested here is the mequiar system for $10.78

I also say Clay Magic (heard good things) or the Mother`s kit (used it - good QD too).

Do a search on the Meguiar`s clay - not too many people like it because of streaking issues....

Definitely look into getting the CM bar at a local Autozone store. Or, if you are lucky enough to live near a Zaino distributor, you can get two of their claybars for 16.99.
