The color is Sterling Grey. (Yhe pic is not my car but mine is identical). The photos are of the same color but shows differently in various lighting conditions. My question is, is it considered "light" or "dark" colored. I`ve had conflicting answers and I`d like to know what you guys think.

My dilemma is this: Do i use Pinnacle Paste Glaz (for light color vehicles) or Use Pinnacle Souveran (which is geared for darker colored paints). Similarly, 3m SMR for light or dark?

Thanks.

I have experience with the color. Go with the Paste Glaz and SMR for light cars. You will be pleased with the results. :up

I don`t see how it would make a difference as you will never polish the color layer anyway, you will only enhance and polish the clear coat. Kinda the same wool that Turlte Wax tries to pull over on those "colored" waxes "sold on TV"

Also, the 3M Swirl Mark Remover for light and dark colored cars is the same formulation, the only difference is how the product is colored because 3M colors the light version kind of a white color so buffer sling will not show up as bad in cracks and crevices and vice versa for the dark verison which is kinda a dark gray color. You can use either on either color paint, but looking at your car it does not look like it needs any 3M used on it.
