The black plastic fender flares

on my Nissan P/U have the old wax

residue and I have tried to get

rid of it by using Bug and Tar

remover on a stiff toothbrush

with no luck. Is there a better

product that anyone can recommend

Thank you

Peanut butter.

Also, run a search on your topic. There are tons and tons of threads on this subject. ;)

I use some product either made by mothers or black magic that is made for black trim....it gives it moisture.

Back to Black washes away after a few washes and the wax stains will then return again. I used a white vinyl eraser, as suggested by somebody here (Thanks :D ), and it took away the residue permanently.

Do a search and you`ll find much more info!!

You can also use peanut oil, available at the supermarket. It`s easier to use than peanut butter (especially when cleaning large areas) and , IMO, does a better job. Be sure to remove excess oil residue, it will attract dust.
