Those lines across the hood are not scratches :D -- should have paid more attention to what was reflecting~ those are power lines!!

I like your taste in cars ;) Nice shine. It looks so odd to me, that there aren`t any little wipers on the headlights. I guess you haven`t got much use for the "winter package" in Georgia.

Yeah - I don`t have the heated seats either -- not much need for `em - maybe 2 or 3 days out of the year!!

Wow, the pics look great. Nice job in framing them. Looks like you read Car Guy`s photo tips.
And the Volvo looks great too. The dressing on the tires is pretty matte, is it 303?
One day we`ll have to have a "Swedish Shine Off", my Saab vs. your Volvo. Let Autopians vote for the best one.
Here`s a pic of mine:

Nice shine, I like the blue in the second pic, I can tell the car is blue in that one. Nice job on the front wheels too:up

Thanks, bret --
I did read Car Guy`s tips -- very helpful!
And I also found (the only thing I did find by google searching) this site: Motorcar Photography Tips by Curt Scott (http://www.cobracountry.com/fototips/home.html) that helped alot -- sort of a Auto Photography for Dummies! It has some digital photo tips. (And, of course, I finally read the digi-cam`s manual) :D
Believe it or not, the tire dressing is TW 2001 Tire Gel, rubbed in well, about 1 month after application. I haven`t driven that much - just a few times/week.
:scared Swedish Shine Off!?! I`m afraid!!! I`m still not good enough for that!!! :scared

Thanks, billyray -- that blue is hard to photograph well -- if anyone has any tips on getting color to come out well in digital photography, I`m open to `em!!
I did discover that if I shot "into" the sun (which had almost set, it was 8 pm and I couldn`t see it at all) the hood looked almost white, but if I shot away from the sun (toward the passenger side in these pics, the hood had more color)
You know, I think I`m spending more time trying to get good shots of my car that I ever did with my kids!! :D
Awful lot of Volvo owners.... or it just seems that way! ;)
Good job. :up

Ok, after I finally got a woman I find out they like volvos. This could have saved me years of searching. Actually I have been married for over 28 years.
Very nice photos. Can you tell us what products you use?
Suggestion Box: Could those of you with the skill to post such beautiful pictures include products and method. After all you just saved a 1000 words.
