Vinyl sticker removal...

Ok so I had these vinyl stickers on my paint. I removed them successfully without any of the sticky stuff staying on the paint. HOWEVER, it left an outline of the sticker that is not extremely visible but enough so that it can be seen approximately 2-3 feet from the car. I have tried scrubbing the area with a wool wash mitt and cleaning the area repeatedly, but it does not come off. What can I do to get this outline off?? Any product names and application processes would be extremely helpful. Thanks guys...

Use a fine rubbing compound to level the paint surface. What your`re seeing is a difference in the level surface of the paint. the area under the sticker has been protected, and is standing up slightly higher.
