Did this on a sudden urge.

Here is what it looked like before still on the engine

Here it is with one coat of paint on it. It`s still all taped up.

Here it is all chromed up

Here it is with all the paint on. It look hand painted still so I`m gonna try to mess around with it tomorrow to get it looking better. I think I might ape off the blue oval and the 4.6L part and paint the plastic black part a Flat Black. Might make it look betta.

No pics of it on the engine yet. I might paint some other things though.

I also acetoned my badges this weekend so I`ll have pics of them up too.

What color should I go with in my engine compartment? Red? Blue? Yellow? Green? I plan on painting other stuff under there like the radiator cowel and the cover for the battery.

THAT looks GREAT!

I wouldnt do to much under the hood, sometimes a little is better that alot:nono But if you do "a little more" stick with the color of the truck.

Once again you did great:xyxthumbs

Thanks redcarguy.

I may see about having the hood pulled off and the underside repainted. I might do that myself. Ford didn`t excatly paint the whole thing...

also might look in to a cold air intake kit, Sumthing like this, it would dress it up a little and get a few HP too!

redcar Guy, yhea I have a plan for performance mods but I`m gonna start getting them now and drop them all on the truck at once.

I`m going to go with the Air Force One Cold air filter. It has a chrome tube. Let me try to find a pic of one.

I plan to do a new read diff. I got a 3.08 now and want to do a 3.73. Going to put a superchip in it at the same time.

I`ll probably also do some pulleys for the accessories. I have to talk to some people to see how much they help F-150s out though. Mine isn`t blown. I already know the throttle body spacer doesn`t work for F-150s.

Reminds me of one Lightning owners signature "My baby like the bottle but prefers to be blown" :D
