Ok I know Zaino is the best in Exterior car care (Z-2, Z-6, Z-7...) But what about the Z-16 Perfect Tire Gloss? Should i get the Z-16 with the rest of my order or should i use another tire product.

I am not really into that mirror finish on my tires i just want them to look like a deep black satin.

Thanx Guys

Z16 is a very good product, it leaves a very nice satin look to the tire and has good durability. I think you will be very happy with the product. :up

Z is batting a 1000 for me. Latest additions Z-10 and 16, the 16 leaves the perfect gloss. It is not a high gloss!

I have been useing Z16 for the last 3 years and love it! I have just now started useing TW tire gel and like it also, It seems to not last os long as Z16 but then I got it for $1.99 a bottle and at that price I can use much more liberally.....

Does Z16 have any UV protection?

Yes, it contains the same Ultra-Gard UV-40 that`s in the polish and leather products.

It`s very nice. I use it occasionally- it seems too expensive to use every week- and like it very much. I put a sprayer head (from an empty bottle of Z16) on the bottle, and it made application easier. I got the idea from DETAILKING. It`s a a great idea!

Z16 is probably the best tire shine product I`ve found. In fact, I had pretty much given up on using tire shine for a while until I tried Zaino`s. What I like about Z16 is the low key satin gloss, and most importantly, it stays put on the tire! I really hate tire products that sling all over the car, and 99% of them do in my experience. But, Z16 has never slung one drop onto the paint, so now I`m using a great tire shine again, without all the hassles. It also lasts a good while, which is another plus. I say give it a shot, it`s a great product, like the rest of the Z line!

I do use a spray head on Z16. I find I use less product that way......but.......

Spray heads usually use more product when spraying directly on a tire, etc because of mist overshoot, and it could get on the paint. I cover the spray head with my applicator (an old sock), and gently and slowly squeeze the trigger to saturate the sock, and then apply to the tires. I find I use a very little in this manner, and Z16 lasts me a long time. I have been using TW tire gel on my BMW now though, with great results.....a bit more shine than Z16.........its all preference!

I love the TW tire gel DK, but are you sure it is ok. It says it has trilicone, is that silicone oil? I dont want to kill my tires.

or any other ill effects after using turtle wax tire gel. TRILICONE is just a trade name for a series of silicone polymers....probably 3 of them! lol

I also like the Z16! :xyxthumbs It has a really nice satin finish. However, It still lacks the "after rain storm" durability that I would like, but then again, all the others seem to lack that same durability. I`ve used the Meguiars High Gloss Tire Gel before, and it works fine, provided you let it dry and don`t over apply! It`s just a pain to apply the Gel`s as far as I`m concerned. Still, I think I`ll give the TW gel a try!
