Using Clay

Does using clay remove the wax?



Because of the area where I work ( a heavy industry/Steel producing area of Sheffield England ) I find I need to clay my car every time I polish it to get the best results as the paint feels like sand paper after a couple of weeks and only clay will get it off. Will this do it any harm?



I currently use Zymol clay , 3M hand glaze and Meguairs No.26 yellow wax.

I`m pretty sure that clay will remove Carnuba wax, but if you are using a synthetic, like Klasse or Zaino, it will not remove all of the synthetic.

It won`t remove it all but you will have to touch it up afterwards.
