Thanks again for the kind words. The most amazing thing to me is that the former owner was absolutely fanatic about mechanicals with receipts for every repair, oil change, etc since he bought the car new, yet the appearance factor was almost completely neglected when I bought it. Go figure. My son has become an expert with the 5 speed and is frothing at the mouth for his 16th birthday in August so he can get his license vs. driver`s permit. I`ve already ordered the clear corner lights for his birthday present, hope I can hold out til August to give them to him!

I never cease to be amazed that some guys say Zaino is not warm enough or deep enough on black cars! Here`s a hood shot of the "Lude":

DCopp, yep, you caught us with our Zaino Z-16 down! Usually use the Zaino tire gloss with every wash, but ran out the other day and my Zaino distributor is out of town. I was actually the distributor for a year but gave it up to devote more time to the family on weekends (although I loved going to all the car shows). I kept a bunch of my stock and am just now starting to run out of some things, which is good I guess because Sal Zaino is always coming out with product improvements. I like the products so well that every time I sold some and the customer left with the products, I felt like I had just lost a family member!

As always, great work Dan! It`s almost hard to believe that your Prelude is the same car in those "before and after" photos you posted a while back. That kind of skill and dedication is exactly what I strive after, so your family (and son in particular) is VERY lucky to have someone teach them so well. I`m about the only one in my family that gives a ratt`s rear end about a clean and detailed car, so if I wanna learn something, I just have to try it for myself. And, I suppose this is why I`ve learned quite a bit over the years, but I`m nowhere near your level! So, please keep us posted on your projects and how you accomplish them, because many here, myself included, can learn a bunch from your knowledge. Thanks for sharing! Oh and BTW, very interesting background you chose there for your latest photo shoot!

Keep up the great work Dan!!
