Lately, I`ve noticed a lot of smaller electric orbital polishers around. I`ve never used one but they seem great. Are they hard to use? What are tips and techniques for using them?

Thanks!

What brand of orbital poilsher are you looking at? There are only a few worth getting. the PC, Dewalt, and Cyclo. There might be a few more orbital sanders you can use as DA buffers too.

You really need to make sure you get foam pads for them. Cotton bonnets are not really good for applying products.

My friend got a small one from Turtle Wax. Only $20 but it really did a great job on his car (titanium color bmw). I even tried it on my steel grey bmw on the trunk lid to remove some zaino and it seemed to do the trick. Machines freak me out though on the car so I went back to finishing it off by hand LOL. I didn`t see any swirl marks or burn marks or anything though. Can operated it with one hand.
