After I 3M polish, do I wash car before the wax goes on?

After you polish a car with 3M or Meguiar`s products to remove scratches, do I have to wash the car off before applying my Zainos.

I would, just to make sure that the surface is clean. You don`t want to scratch your car right after you removed scratches :eek:

That is what the Dawn wash is for. It will strip any fillers, oils, silicones, ect. so that the Z can bond correctly.

Normal carnauba wax you won`t have to wash after polishing.



If you are using Zaino, then I would wash it.

If you were using carnuba, you`d be negating hard work by washing, because you actually want the fillers to stay.



However, for Zaino, you`ll need to wash in order to strip off everything so it can bond properly. Good luck.
