After trying most of the bug remover products out there with limited success ... many of them take off the bugs but also remove the wax too ...
I tried this and it works great and leaves the paint with that just waxed feel.
- Spray Poorboys S&W on the bugs and let sit for a few minutes.
- While waiting fill a bucket with hot water.
- Dip a clean MF into the hot water, wring out slightly, and wash the bugs away.
- The thick baked on ones might need more rubbing but they
will come off.
- Finish up with a final wipe down with S&W or your favorite QD
and no bugs and a smooth finish.
- I have also found that keeping a good coat of UPP or other
sealant on the bug prone areas makes removal much easier.

I wish people would get this through their heads BEFORE they wander in off the street and beg us to save the day.

:lmfao :rofl ...it will be a HD one though and rewaxing will be probably needed...right now S & W or BSR work well and won`t remove the wax/sealant

kimwallace,

Good tips................ I do something similar, only I use Poorboy`s BSR, which is a more concentrated version of S & W.

Boss,
I used to do the same type of thing only using Car wash shampoo and it didn`t remove the bugs as well and it felt like it removed all the wax as well.
I just placed an order so I will try the BSR next.
