UGH :( completely, absolutely reminds me of the time my family drove through this town and found it was raining insects!!! Probably locusts. Got everywhere and anywhere and the engine bay was full of them. Even 8 years later if I try I can probably find a carcass or two....

Ewwwww!!! It was about this time last year that I took a trip where I came back looking like that so I bought a bra for long trips. I can`t stand the bugs sometimes. Especialy on a white car. That has got to be the worst color for bugs.

yup - my wife just came back from out of town..... she didnt wash her car the whole time she was there or on the way there/back......

I yelled at her because some of the bug guts won`t come off even with my normal bug and tar remover, I`m gonna have to clay, then probably do a cleaner/SMR step...... its as if the automatic car wash is completely foreign (I told her it would do in a pinch)

It looks like you were driving behind a tar truck. I remember I was on the highway and there was this pickup which had a tar carrier and when I got home, the front of my car was riddled with little black tar spots. I got some tar cleaner and then applied some sealant and it was gone.

I suggest you get it out ASAP. The longer it is on for, the worse it is to remove.

Man, thanks for reminding me what the Maxima looked like after driving to Champaign-Urbana, IL. The car was literally encrusted with bugs.
