i am doing a tint job for someone. the person doesn`t want to spend too much, so i would preferably like to use something off-the-shelf. also, is the axius Professional Adhesive Tint Film any good?

I just got my windows professionally tinted yesterday. They used tint called Johnson Film. I have done my research on this tint and it is a good quality film. Some other quality ones include Lumar, 3M. I would definitely stay away from the cheap stuff at auto parts stores, they have a tendency to turn purple after only a couple of months.

agreed... both Johnson Film and Llumar Tint are good... go with something that it a bit metallic -- will help keep the tint from turning purple so quickly.

Look up the sites on the web. You might be able to get it directly from the company. If not, you can probably get it from a shop. Another company to look at is SunGard. They make excellent tint. I have SunGard on my car, and it is very nice.
