I sometimes go to the Nissan Sentra Forums to BS with the people I became aquainted with when I had mine and they have a section there called Show & Shine that is hilarious...i copied this post from there because you all must read it... here it is...

If you use wax, I agree that you should wait until the rain/water begins to not bead. Since wax is abrasive, each coat of wax you apply removes the previous coat.

If i have any Kids they will not be called Emerson. It would remind me of that Post. he has ruined the name emerson!!

What is wrong with his post?

When water stops beading it generally is a good indication that another coat of wax needs to be applied.

Assuming he means cleaner waxes his advice sounds right. Each new coat will remove the previous coat.

RIC emerson says that he agrees with someone in the post...that agreement is that waxing once a month is overkill...he says to wait until water no longer beads a.k.a. too late...also wax is not abrasive...some cleaner waxes are but wax isn`t. capiche?

Maybe he is stuck in a time warp. I grew up using this stuff

And it certainly took stuff off my hot `72 Maverick. Abrasive as heck!

Or, he is not a detail enthusiast. Some people jsut don`t care about detailing. It is funny though.
