Wifey and I are going to Vegas tomorrow for our 10 year anniversary. Leaving the kids home!!! Yippee. We are going to renew our wedding vows and Elvis is doing the ceremony.

Anyone who has been there know a really nice place to have dinner that night?

Just thought I would throw that out there!

There are TONS of really nice places to eat in vegas... If you had to list the prioritys of the people in vegas it would list like this!

Gambleing
Drinking
Eating

What hotel are you staying at?

Paris hotel has some very nice restruants, as does New york New york. If your looking for nicer than that. Then move up to the Venitian (and don`t forget to go for a Gondola Ride)

I am staying at Caesars. I was there in October on business and ate at Valentino in the Venitian. It was really good.

I heard the new restaurant in Caesars is really good. Forget the name now. San Fran Chef.

Unfortunately I dont gamble (save my money for detailing supplies)
Quit drinking 7 years ago
Love to eat but recently lost 60 lbs

I guess my priorities will be all screwed up LOL

Do you have any particular style of food in mind? Steak, Italian, Chinese, etc.? How about dress code requirements (jacket & tie)?

P.S. Happy anniversary! :)

Continental or Italian I would say. I am not brining a jacket and tie. Too hot this time of year.

PS Thank you!

Hi Dalton;

Congratulations on your `10`th`.

My wife and I are `snowbirds`, we spend the cold months at our place in Vegas and come back home when the weather warms up. We are just a mile up the road from the Rio.

Focusedonsound hit the nail on the head - The Paris is my favorite casino - mind you, Caesars isn`t too shabby either and the Venetian and Bellagio (with the water show) will blow your mind.

If you have the time, check out the Rio, Gold Coast, Palms trio, they are just across the bridge ("Off Strip" in the `locals` language) from Caesars. A little further up is The Orleans, if you like Cajun. These are our `hangouts` when we are down there.

Don`t worry about dress codes - any place that has one will cost you a year`s salary!! LOL

All the best and have a good time - be sure and "walk the strip"
