View Full Version : Can you use 3M IHG or 3M SWR before Klasse?
I`ve got some water spots and swirls that I`d like to tackle before I Klasse the surface, but I don`t want to impede the bonding of the acrylic Klasse to the paint with whatever may be in the IHG and SWR. Can I do this? Do I need to re-Dawn wash in between, or is AIO abrasive enough to remove any residue from the SWR or IHG that I don`t have to worry about it?

AIO will remove any oils and stuff from glaze products and Swirl Mark remover products.
Prep work is key to a great looking car.:wavey

You can use both of these products...definitely. In fact it`s exactly what I did to my Volvo. Take a look at the following threads for what I did and the final results:

You may want to wash in between, just in case, but I did not and I have noticed no problems with bonding.
