what is the minmum number of towels needed to do follwing
car has very light swirls but is black with a blue pearl (honda) and has those horrible holograms that move in the direction you buff- so i will be using meq 2.0 or ppcl to remove these (which one)
step 2 will be z1 and z2 applied
and then 1 coat of z5
i plan on having ten 16x16 mf`s and 4 charisma`s any other suggestions?

You cannot have enough MF towels.
That said buy what you can afford and wash them if you do not have enough.
But you can figure about 2-4 for removing products from your car per product.
For drying 2-5 depending on how well you sheet the water or if you use a blower.
2-4 for interior work
I do remember this being asked before but maybe in a different way. Search for it....it was a long thread.

If you air-dry them after washing, they may take 12- 24 hours to dry completely. I have double what I need so I can keep working
if another project comes up...But you never ever have enough...

I just got a BIG BLUE TOWEL for drying and it was one of the best I have used. I plan to get another but it will significantly reduce the number of drying towels needed for my stable.

LIke GMN said, get a as many quality microfiber towels as you can afford. You will covet them for wax removal and QD application! They are fantastic necessities!
