Hi chevydetailer,

OG Blitz Wax is a very good wax. It is priced right and will outlast more expensive waxes. The only drawback with OG Blitz Wax is that it can stain your rubber and vinyl moldings. Recommendations will be to use painters tape to cover those areas. Some people here on the forum like to use it has a top coat over 3 coats of polymer such as Klasse. I had that combination on my car before and the results were pretty good. It does give you a shine comparable to more expensive waxes but won`t put a hole in your pocket. You can`t go wrong my friend, you have a good all around wax.

Aloha,

Omega glaze + Blitz + Show Off = One wet looking vehicle.

Buff Omega and Blitz with Gerber seemless diapers [Sears]

Buff Show Off with a nice white Fieldcrest

[ I found that MF`s grab too much when used with Show Off ]

As far as black trim I`ve gotten good at avoiding them. Just

apply Blitz to within a half inch of trim. It takes a little practice

but you get good at it quickly. Unless you use a PC then thats

another issue.

IMO Blitz is one of the best caranubas available. It lasts much longer than most other waxes, gives a great shine, is fairly easy to work with and won`t break the bank. That gets a big :up in my book.

i`m happy with blitz.

I have not tried Klasse or Zaino. Everytime I get close to taking the Klasse plunge, I realize that for me, its not worth the time and money. You can get a shine that is subjectively as good as Klasse, some say better, some say not. The protection does not last as long but a coat can be done in under an hour, not the extended process of the AIO/SG.

rd_volvo, can you compare the Omega+Blitz with IHG+Blitz?

edit: I forgot to mention that blitz does leave a white residue on trim but that can easily be cleaned up with peanut butter.

Yes I can.

IHG + Blitz looks OK but I feel Omega + Blitz looks better.

I know that the Audi camp really likes IHG and Blitz.

I don`t know if that`s because they had not gotten around

to trying Omega.

I think part of the problem is that when people mention One Grand the only thing they think of is Blitz Wax. Most people don`t realize they also make other products. Hopefully people will wake up and realize that One Grand makes lots of great stuff, not just Blitz. :xyxthumbs

OG Applicator sponges

All Purpose Cleaner

I know it looks like I have something to do with OG but I can

assure you I do not. I am only an enthusiast.

Just like many Zaino lovers have really gotten into their

products, I have the same exact feelings about One Grand.

Just like Meguiar`s and Zymol have their following.

To each their own.

Thanks rd_volvo :xyxthumbs

My main gripe with IHG is that if you put it on too thick, you really have to work it to totally remove, making sure you look at all angles. How is Omega in terms of application? I love how easy Blitz is to apply.

I`ve never heard one negative thing about Blitz. I think its probably the finest carnuba you can get off the shelf anywhere. Unless, of course, you happen to work for Pinnacle and have a shelf with Souveran on it. ;)

I used to do the Omega/Blitz combo on my `90 Mustang 5.0 LX with a black single stage paint job. Did it with a big orbital buffer and terrycloth bonnets. That thing always looked awesome.

Omega/Blitz is a great combo. I sprung for Souveran a few years ago but if that`s too big a nut, stick with Blitz. You`ll love it.

Only one more question...what should I use to CLEAN the paint of all the Zaino??? H.D. Cleanse, Meguiars DCS Cleaner, or P21S GEPC???:nixweiss
