Took my 99 Civic to the dealer for maintenance. The service mgr said, "Wow your car looks sterile." Other techs came by and said, "Man what kind of wax do you use?" Others congregated around my Klasse act and drooled.
Makes you feel good. :D
PS I told them I just wash it with dish soap.

dude.. that was not a nice answer.. you should have taken 5 or 10 minutes and explained to them your procedure.. maybe they`ll learn a thing or two.. that way, we spread the joy of detailing, and the joy of seeing other clean, well taken care of cars on the road.. i know that when i see a nicely detailed car next to mine, i complement the person on the job.

Actually, I told the techs about the wash and told the mgr about the Klasse. Turns out he was an x-detailer.

BTW this is the same dealership I saw them prepping an S 2000 for delivery. It was a light blue metallic. I cringed as they used a bristle brush to wash and then sent it thru their automatic beater....ouch.
