I have been watching this forum for a bit and finally decided to join. It seems like there is a great bunch of people here.

Here is a pic of my car that I finally finished detailing.

The Seattle rain / clouds don`t help cast reflections.

Welcome to Autiopia. That is a very nice car. Good detail job! What did you use on that?

Hi Savan! :wavey

Welcome to the forum! Nice car and nice shine!!

I never really liked silver cars until I came to Autopia - and saw them in their full glory! Now, the color is one of my favorites!!

Thanks everyone. This forums looks like it rocks big time. I love my silver ride because it`s pretty easy to maintain and the shine stays on there for a long time.

I am new to detailing and don`t know each step by heart yet so I am sure I messed up somewhere :D

I used:

1. meguirs car wash

2. mother`s clay bar

3. zymol cleaner wax (zymol is SO hard to find in Seattle)

4. Meguiars #7 Showroom glaze.

After plenty of hours and 2 shriveled hands, I must say that the paint is smooooooth as can be.

Welcome aboard!

Wow, very nice MB!

The Zymol C/W you are using is available in many auto parts stores, WalMart, etc...it`s actually made by Turtle Wax just FYI. I see plenty of Zurtle around here...
