Tire gel

I have a car competioin tomrrow. Now what i am wondering is if i should apply my meguires tire gel to night and let it sit and dry. Or do it when i get to the show? Also if i do it to night will it spin off on the way?

I`d do a coat tonight, then apply a small ammount just before you leave in the AM. Then lighty buff to nice shie, or matte finish.
