Is it okay to use this on newly repainted surfaces? I`ve read on this forum that people use 3M Imperial Hand Glaze on repainted surfaces. I was wondering if the Meguiar`s product I mentioned can be used instead since that`s what I have. Thanks...

Yes #7 will work just fine on fresh paint.:up

You can use it on newly painted surfaces. It is an oil based product, just like wax but it does not last as long and it shines more. People use it before they put the wax on, hoping that the wax will fade before the glaze.

What is a good decent polish to remove slight orange peel, and put a deep shine on a newly painted vehicle? I will be using either the IHG or #7 on the paint for the first 30ish days, but after words I am planning on polishing it up and protecting the finish as much as possible.

Sandpaper removes orange peel, not polish. Color sanding is by far the most effective way to level a finish.

90 days from the day the car was built is what I hear.
