Have a `01 Jet Black BMW 325 CI with plenty of Swirl Marks and various other imperfections. Prior to applying Blitz should
I use Meguiars #9, 3M Swirl Mark Remover or 3M Imperial
Hand Glaze?
Thanks...Adam

yes yes no.
Remove the swirls with abrasives first as paint prep is the key to a great look when done.
The glaze will just fill and hide the swirls temporarily.

I would go with Meguiars Swirl Remover.
If you go with 3M imperial Handglaze - a word to the wise.
DO NOT let it dry on the car or you will need a sander to get it off.
Do one panel at a time and buff off asap.
It is great stuff though.
It is tough to see the residue on light colored cars as well.

jeff [/b]</blockquote>I haven`t used 3M SMR so I will defer to your experience with it.
Just apply with a foam applicator or terry towel.
Foamie uses less product.
