What are some more safer alternatives to strip wax, besides dawn washing? Thanks.

I`ve never really heard of Dawning being unsafe. I do it to some of my own personal vehicles up to 3 times a year and have never seen any ill effects. I suppose a weekly wash in Dawn would eventually show some kind of harmful effects. A paint cleaner is a heck of a lot more work. And I wouldn`t use any kind of an abrasive product just for the sole purpose of removing wax and not addressing swirls.
Ron K`s company made something called the ABC System that was if I remember right a sort of replacement for the clay and Dawn treatment. I`ve seen rave reviews about it. I can`t remember the companies web address though. All these chemical fumes do that to a guy.
