I recently just clayed my hood, trunk, and roof. I then used p21s paintwork cleanser, then i did a dawn wash. After i was done drying it, i realized some spots needed to be reclayed. Do i have to a dawn wash again or can i just put rubbing alcohol on the spots i had to reclay. I am planning on using zaino after.

Rubbing alcohol is used to remove Zaino, not to clean the paint in preparation for Z. That said, if it were me I would Dawn wash those areas again and go for the Z.

Hello jw,

I would recommend reclaying the areas you missed and wash the area with dawn again and go straight into your Zaino system. I would recommend starting with Z1 then you will have to wait about 1 hour it all depends on the weather and humidity factor. Next, put on Z5 right on top of the Z1. You don`t have to remove the Z1 prior to adding the Z5. Then wait about 24 hours and add the Z2.

I hope that helps.

Take care,

Ranney

PakShak, I always thought you had to put Z-2 or Z-5 directly over Z-1 before allowing the Z-1 to dry?

A4 you are correct per Zaino.

Apply Z1 then apply Z2 or Z5 right on top. Z1 does not have to haze.

Oops, A4 your right. You don`t need Z1 to dry, you would apply either Z5 or Z2 right after. Thanks for catching that. :D

Great, I got scared for a second. However I couldn`t imagine getting an even better shine! Zaino is really a great product...
