What would I want for a car that has no swirls or anything? I`m just looking to see which product would give me the better shine. I don`t go for the "sheen" crap ;)

If no swirls you would want Z2, it has a little better optical properties than Z5.

My black Z28 is swirl free but I use a combination of Z2 and Z5 in order to increase the depth of the black finish. How does this works?:nixweiss. I e-mailed Sal and he suggested I try this combination at varying ratios and the depth should improve. I always finish with a final coat of Z2. I also use the Z5 to mask any marring that may occur during washing, drying and between wash QD`ing.

Works for me.:D

If you are looking for a slight darkening affect, Z-5 is said to cause this every so slight darker shade to the paint, NOT much though, maybe around .01%. If you know your car color well you`ll notice a slight difference but it takes a trained eye to see a difference.

For a higher optical shine as SL said, use Z-2.
