The water spots will come out with a nice polish (3M swirl mark remover or Meguiars Body scrub for a near perfect finish).

What kind of stains, I was just reading something about coca-cola haha, just kidding. Depends on the stains. You help me and I`ll help you.

How deep are they, can you feel them with your fingernail? Pass the primer?

Well you can use 3M Swirl Mark Remover .... if you rub it in really firm to the motion of the scratch, this would be the least abrasive attempt. It worked very well for me when I backed into a metal trash barrell in my first car, hide them really really well.

Aside from that, all I can recommend is touch up paint.

With all due respect...please, no all caps.

Also check out the Autopia University and the search function for a lot of solid information.

In regards to the water spots question, vinegar works well on removing "normal" water spots, if they`re etched into the paint you have a more serious issue. Since they are appearing after you wash your car, make sure that you are not washing in strong sunlight and that you are using a good automotive shampoo, like EF PowerWash+ (`http://properautocare.com/pw-32.html`). Rinse well and dry immediately after.

For the carpet staining, you can try the EF Carpet & Uholstery Cleaner (`http://properautocare.com/cf-s32.html`) , it`s really good.

When drying your car do you use a towel, microfiber towel or california water blade?

Welcome to the forum!

I suggest you read the CARPORT site. A link is provided at the top center of the page. Then I suggest search this forum for specific questions you have. Then I suggest you get the e-book as it has a wealth of information.

when you wash your car you should keep it wet and try to prevent the water spots. The book has some tips for this. but if you do get them apply a vinegar/water solution to loosen the minerals before they etch the clear coat.

DO a search on water spots there is a ton of info.

Good Luck.
