Feeling kind of dumb at the moment but is that the same thing? Right now im about to use UPC and UPP on my truck this weekend and dont know if im supposed to add something on top of that for a wax. I have seen where UPP was mentioned as a sealent. Anyone mind clueing in my clueless self on this. Thanks!

Yes you can top it with a carnuba if you want to add a little depth to it but its not needed unless you want to.

UPP will look great and hold up very well all by itself.

You might prefer to wax and then seal. The sealant has a longer lifespan than the wax and most detailers in this forum (esp. Poorboys users like me) use carnuba for visual purposes rather than protective, and seal over the wax. You do of course get the UV screen.

I don`t know how many people put a sealant on top of carnauba. There are some bonding issues that would result.

I agree with Scott, I don`t know that a sealent would bond to a wax. I`ve really never heard of anyone doing that...

When you apply a sealant and then top it with a carnauba wax you get the added UV protection of the sealant along with the ultimate high gloss shine of the carnauba wax. This combo works very well, especially on black and dark colored vehicles.

Use EX which has some Carnauba then re-seal w/ EX-P, that will give some locked in Carnauba
