I used Meguiar`s clay years ago and thought it was good, but I just recently finished claying my entire car with Zaino clay and the whole process was easy and the results, amazing.

luv that clay magic. I wish i had a picture, but my digital cam died - would rather spend cash on mf.

2004 ford focus parked outside a house that was getting painted. long sotry short - they decide to paint the car aswell by mistake. overspray on entore vehicle. detail shop wanted 750 to remove it form the entire car.

I`ve only tried the Mothers claybar at this point. I was hoping for opinions on what would be best to get next...

I`ve only tried the Mother`s, the Griot`s (those two appear to be indentical) and the various grades and generations of Sonus. The Sonus is markedly superior to the Mother`s/Griot`s, so much so that every time I start to use the Mother`s/Griot`s (just to use it up) I get frustrated and end up switching to the Sonus; it`s *that* much better.

I like to use whatever is on sale haha. I have used the zaino, opticlay, and meguiars mild clay with ease but dont care for the clay magic because it came off on my hands; furthermore, Mothers clay has come in handy in the past but I do not by it anymore because I dont need the provided quick detailer.

I miss my Erazer clay! Nothing like Elasticly Clay that doesn`t grain up and can be molded amazingly well.

I`ve treid Claymagic/Mothers/Opticlay and Opticlay was easier to knead then the other to and worked great. Since Opticlay is no longer availaable Claymagic would be my next choice.

Thanks to this thread, I decided to try the Clay Magic Blue bar on my 04 Spec V, and I must say, I am very impressed. I bought the car used from a friend that works at a stealership, and it had some kind of overspray just on the passenger side front door. I started rubbing, and that overspray came right off and the paint felt like a baby`s ***. I was so impressed, I had done the entire car before I even knew it!!!

Now if I could just get these swirl marks out. Black paint sucks.....

Used Clay Magic mostly, but have used others as well. Have not really noticed a huge difference between them.

I`ve only used Meguiar`s clay. But that bar is being demoted to only wheels and a new bar whatever bar I decide to buy is going to be for paint. Im really thinking about the CM now.
