Klasse Guys...

I`m new to the board but I`ve really enjoyed reading all the posts. My question is - Is there anywhere on the web that gives detailed information about Klasse?



Please correct me if I am wrong, but it seems to me that people use different products WITH the Klasse. True?, and if so how do you know what works best with what?



BTW, the vehicles I would be working with are both new, the oldest being 8 months, so the paint is in good condition.



I`ve decided to try Zaino first because I have read so much about it. Good and bad! ;)

It`s a good thing that you found this board, because with out the info here, it would be difficult to find the tips and tricks that work with KLASSE as there is limited customer service and outdated instructions.



I am sure if you voice your questions and concerns here, the KLASSE experts will come forward and give you great advice.



So what car did you try out zaino on? What color? How did you like it?

First off, welcome to the board.



I use both Klasse and Zaino and like them both. Some do use different products with Klasse, but you have your basic Klasse products: All-In-One, and High Gloss Sealant Glaze. Those are the only 2 Klasse paint products. The different products are found when people put different kinds of wax on top of the layers of Klasse. Or people use different kinds of Quick Detail Spray, and different kinds of car wash. I like that you can use different products with Klasse, it leaves the door open to try something new if you want to and you are not nailed down to a specific set of products. Many here, including myself, have tried just about every product out there, and that is how we come up with our favorite combos. Most is done just by trials to see what combo you like the best.



The key to any flawless showcar finish is prep work. The prep work can take anywhere from 30 minutes to many hours. It depends on what you want the car to look like, how much time and effort you want to put in it, and how much $$$ you have to spend. Your cars should not need much prep work because they are not that old. Also if the car is a garage queen or a daily driver also plays a factor.



Use the search feature here and do a search for "Klasse". You will find a ton of threads about it, including application methods and lots of tips.

The great thing is Zaino or Klasse, you just can`t go wrong. Follow the links above for some good directions on Klasse use, I recommned three coats of SG ! And for that little extra, Blitz (I`ve seen this but not used it) or Pinnacle which I use and love.

Detailking; I haven`t applied the Zaino yet. It`s scheduled to arrive today! :up I will post after I apply it.

I have a 02 Silverado Ext LX- Indigo Blue and a 01 Suburban LX Redfire Metalic. Both are daily drivers, but garaged. My dh drives the truck and I haul the 3 boys (and everything that goes with them) in the `burb.



I was going to do the Suburban first, then I thought, I`ll do the truck with Zaino and the Suburban with Klasse. Now, I have another idea. If I can find out where to get the sample bottles of the 2 Klasse products, I think I will do my own long term Zaino vs. Klasse test. I`ll prep the hood of my Suburban with the claybar

and apply the Zaino to half and the Klasse to the other half. I`ll evaluate the two for 6 months and decide which I like the best.



I`ll Zaino the Silverado! My husband will love that, won`t he. :D

BTW, JIC you didn`t know or just FYI, SG and AIO are TOL products, IMHO, create a wonderful shine on SUVs or ATVs, and QD`s can be used between apps. TYFYT.

waxman; You are right, the internet has created a lazy form of communication. I still feel like I am writing a letter and try to use correct punctuation and capitalization when I write. I received an e-mail reply from a car dealership that had not one word capitalized. That`s the ultimate in lazy.

as a fairly new forum user here, i can

say that these guys have really helped me get my new car looking the way it should.

from proper washing and drying to the zaino and klasse systems.

i opted for the klasse system and i couldn`t be happier.

i just gave my car it`s first klasse weekend and it was easy. IMHO, easier than most waxes i`ve used in the past, and with better results than all the others.



come back often to the forum. you`ll learn stuff you didn`t realize you needed to learn!

As the others have mentioned before I, you really can`t go wrong with Zaino or Klasse. I`ve used both and I`m very pleased so far. The one thing that I do like about the Zaino is that you can apply infinite layers of their polish and you never have to remove them to start over. You can apply 300 layers of Z-2 and never worry about having to strip the layers. Laters.

I don`t quite remember the exact number, but I believe this was coat 299..........SERIOUSLY FOR REAL!!!! !!!!!
