Hello Everyone,
I got my PC 7424 today and opened the box up, I bought my PC through Coastal Tool Co. They sent me a 6" hook & Loop backing plate with it. Im happy. I purchased some 3M pad`s #05739 from Ebay and they wont stick to the backing plate. I thought maybe they have a paper mask to save the pad`s. I was wrong. Can anyone tell me which pad`s to get and who has the best pad`s available? The backing plate is also a PC plate # 18002.

Thanks for the help,
Sellncars

I have had good luck with the Meg`s Pads, but might want to check into The Edge Pads.

some of the 3M pads have a system called Hook-It II...it`s a reversed velcro..you need a Hook_it II backing plate....3M did this so you have to use thier backing pad ..which is expensive..3M also has pads that are called Hook-It..they will fit a regular backng pate...problem is most are sized for a Rotary..not a PC...

I have had a lot of luck with my PC and the Megs 7006 (SOFTBUFF Cutting Pad) , 8006 ( SOFTBUFF Foam Polishing Pad) and 9006 (SOFTBUFF™ Finishing Pad). I have not tried Edge pads yet but I am looking forward to it as I have read only good things about them here.
