Hey everyone,

New to coatings and I was thinking of putting it on the g/f`s car to save some time going forward. I see that most come in 30ml or 50ml bottles. Just curious how much a small SUV would require for one layer of coating.

Depending on how it goes I might look at applying it to a few other vehicles I maintain. Figured I would try it out on my own vehicles before accepting money to apply it to anyone elses!

Thanks in advance!

30ml should do it(about 1oz). I used duragloss enviroshield (comes in 4oz) on a friend`s infiniti suv and only used about an ounce for two full coats. I applied two coats of opti-coat 2.0 to a friend`s Nissan 4 dr pick up and had some of the 1oz left over.

I was hoping that would be the case. Saves from having to spend more and have a bunch left over! I was thinking of Cquartz with reload. It`s around $60 with reload, I think that`s pretty reasonable.
