Quick review of CarPro PERL: PLASTIC, ENGINE, RUBBER, LEATHER

Products Used

CarPro PERL
CarPro Iron X Lemon Scent
CarPro Reload
Tuf Shine Tire Cleaner

The wheels didn`t look bad from far but close up the dirt really shows.

IXLS was sprayed and agitated with multiple wheel woolies. Wheel woolies are nice to cut down on the splatter while cleaning wheels.

IXLS did a great job cleaning the wheel. Tire was sprayed and cleaned with Tuf Shine Tire Cleaner.

Tire and wheel were dried off. Reload was applied to the wheel. PERL diluted 1:1 was applied to the tire and wiped off with a MF.

Here is a close up of PERL being applied to the wheel and a small section not dressed yet. PERL does go on with a little shine.

After the tire is wiped with a MF a beautiful satin/matte finish is left behind. After using multiple other tire dressings I can honestly say PERL is my new go to tire dressing. I really liked the finish it left.

Great review. I love PERL at 1:1. It`s the perfect look. I have been switching back and forth between Bold and Bright on tires

Great review, I love the stuff. I used the 2x4 idea that I borrowed from Bunky a few years ago. Its all fun until your forget about the 2x4, hit the gas and shoot the 2x4 20 feet.

Have fun, be careful

Thanks, I was using PB B&B before Perl and liked it a lot.

Thanks, I got the idea off the forums a few years ago and it could have been Bunky as well!

You are welcome. I have not been disappointed with any CarPro products.

How is durability?

About one month on tires. What kind of durability have others seen from PERL on tires?

*** Quick Update ***

It rained really good this afternoon with some flash flooding. I figured the tires might show some water spots or something after being out in the storm for 30 minutes.

The wheel & tire did not have hardly any water on them at all. The SUV was pulled into the garage and pictures were taken minutes later. Before I took the pictures all four wheels looked like someone and dried the wheel & tires. Both PERL & Reload are really impressive.

Nice review.

Perl is one of the very few CarPro products I have yet to try. Now I think I`m going to have take the plunge. I like the way the tires look and figure it will look just as good on interiors.

Thanks Troy! I don`t know why I never tried PERL until now either. CarPro makes some great products.

Nice review! I`ve been using PERL for a while on the tires and like it a lot. I use it undiluted but I think I may like a bit more shine than you. Regardless, 1:1 looks fantastic, too. Thanks for sharing!

Have not tried PERL but am tempted to now. How do you think it would fair as a wheel liner spray? Really enjoying using some of their other products (Reset, Hydro2, Iron X Snow Soap).

Thanks, undiluted would give more shine for those that like that look. I prefer matte but it is a great product for all.

Not sure how well it would hold up in the wheel well. If the wheel well is plastic I would apply DLUX for more protection. Maybe someone else has tried it in wheel wells and can comment.
