Gel of course. Opti-Bond, PERL, BF and PB BnB are my favorites.

I`m using CG Silk & Shine which is a thick liquid but can be sprayed. It looks great, I`ll try to get a pic.

Gel with a carrand tire applicator brush.

1. opti bond tire gel
2. DP tire gel

I`ve been wanting to try DP tire gel but I hear the gloss is a little too much. I prefer a satin finish.

Yes! I`ve had gel sample size dressing but it seems so easy to spray my tires down.

I put a sprayer on my bottle of Silk & Shine but didn`t like the overspray. I just use a squeeze top and dispense onto an old mft.

I`ve been using gel solely, but am placing an order for PERL and just realized it is sprayed. I haven`t used a spray since my teenage days and am worried about the over spray (since dressing the tires is usually one of if not the last thing I do). Can anyone with experience with PERL chime in for me here, and supply some insight. If not may have to try making my own thread which will get my post count up right trouble??

I just got some car rand applicators and totally forgot to use them on the two cars I did today. Not sure if they are the same as yours the one with a plastic top?

Gel, 100%! I find it to not only look better once it is on the tire, but last longer too. I suppose if I had to use a spray I would make sure to spray the applicator or tire swipe first, then the tire, that way there is no overspray on the tire or paint. I also find that sprays tend to sling more so than gel, so that is a major contributing factor. But, like I said, GEL - 100%!

I`ve been applying PERL with a foam apicator for almost a year. I dilute PERL 1:1 and use it for wheel wells with a sprayer.

Gel, I use AMMO MUD. Stuff is awesome. Although I really need to compare it to the rest :) Its also safe on trim.

I only use gel on low profile tires. Otherwise it`s spray for me.

Regardless of what I use (gel, spray) I like to apply it to the applicator and wipe on...

So spray people... are you spraying it directly onto the tire?

I almost always apply to an applicator whether it is a liquid or spray. I tend to like gel over spray.
