Last night I ran into my friend with the 2014 Subaru Forester I detailed last month and was excited to see how the PBL Diamond Surface Coating was holding up.

It`s been raining pretty much every night here this week so when I checked her Subaru, I was greeted by spherical confirmations that the coating was still present.
This was the only pic I took last night from my phone that did not come out blurry.

I invited her for some pizza today so I would have a chance to take pictures to post an update on this coating. There were a few clouds in the sky, but pretty sunny overall.

This Subaru hasn`t been touched since the coating was applied 55 days ago (12/7/2013).

Still glossy.

The only areas that looked dirty were the wheels and the lower panels. The metallic paint did a great job of hiding the dirt so it was difficult to capture the road film on camera.

I decided to use a horizontal panel to test for water beading. I used the Gold Plush towel here to show which area I would be testing.

After a quick spray.

The paint still felt slightly slick. It obviously wasn`t as slick as the paint was 54 days ago, but I could still feel something was on the paint. I`ll update this again in the future.
