I don`t have a business or a website but I hear ads about square space all the time and they have really good prices. I have never checked it out though but heard it is easy.

I used WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get). Basicly, you put all the pictures where you want them, how you want them, and it gives you the HTML code at the end to publish your website. Completely idiot proof, I was amazed at how easy it was to make my site. This is the site I made with it. Buff-N-Glo Premium Mobile Detailing (http://www.buff-n-glo.com)

I`ve been playing with Square Space and Web.com but haven`t got the results yet that I want by the time I`m finished. I`ve scrapped 4 websites already because I hated the way they looked. Ill eventually get there but its frustrating. Both are good sites though..its the user (me) with the problems lol.

Go buy your domain name first, then you need a host. A host is going to run you anywhere from 5 to 50 dollars a month. If you`re smart, you can use a storage site to host your site;) Then you use your web building software to publish it to the host. It`s confusing, tough, and if you are doing it yourself, depending on how computer smart you are, it`s going to take at least a day or two.

There are plenty of helpful guides on google and youtube, and just about any question you have is on google. It took me weeks to come up with my site, and I`m still finding things I could have done different. But I`m extremely glad I learned it, because now anytime I want to change something I can do it.

I hear you, but you want to get something up ASAP. Even if it`s not the snazzyist looking website, just at least have something up there for people to read. I suggest starting off as simple as you can, then going back and fixing the details. Going back and changing something doesn`t take much time at all.

I forgot to mention, LEARN PHOTOSHOP! It`s confusing, but once you learn it, it will help you probably the rest of your life.

Get a host with PHP (there`s a lot of) then use WordPress. You can build with this system whatever you want. And it`s easy.

I used a fraternity brother who thats what he does. Gave him exactly what I wanted and did it just the way I asked. Were about to make some tweaks to mine now that boating season is starting to slow and ill actually have the time.
