I normally wouldn`t call out a dealership for their lack of detailing prowess. I have handled several vehicles for customers after a dealership failed to satisfy on multiple attempts. One was even a salesman at said dealership. But when a dealership specializes in nothing but high end cars (Foreign Cars Italia in Greensboro, NC) and the cars in their showroom look like this I just can`t bite my tongue. These are just two of the Aston Martins in their showroom; I don`t recall the exact models but the stickers listed them well over $200,000. I can accept some marring from customers but DA haze on the champagne and holograms on the black one are clearly from the detailers. The worst part is that people who buy cars from them continue to take them there for detailing services. smh. Inexcusable.

It`s just ignorance, in my opinion they just don`t know and likely don`t even see the imperfections you do.

If I were a detailer, I would be ecstatic. I might even go as far as to give them a monthly bonus for sending business my way. Just sayin`...

I cannot tell you how many times Fort Lauderdale Ferrari indirectly sent business my way because of their "detailer`s" work. Personally, I except a bad finish regardless of the price, marque and model.

Sadly... I think it is because their detailers are keeping them cleaner.

It`s the common division between dealers and detailers. Dealers will not invest the time because of the bottom line. It`s been a constant battle to get them to leave the rest of the car alone that has been corrected when a bumper gets repaired.

Yep. Daily wipe downs with windex as qd and a terry towel

I was at the Lexus dealership on Sunday and every model in the showroom had more swirls than a Martha Stewart wedding cake.

Most cars at this price tag are rented (leased) . So people don`t really care because they are looking at the emblem on the car, not the paint. Then they give them back and get another. No pride in ownership.

Aston Martin and Ferrari dealers in fla. Are some of my best customers. They allow me to make a lot of money fixing that kind of work

i dont know..if i paid 200k for a vehicle. i would expect flawless paint--forever! haha

or at least a few details added in the price...but then again if you can afford a 200k vehicle you can probably afford a 200-400 detail and regular good quality hand washes
