I thought the 2nd gens pushed about 240 hp stock? And with intake, exhaust and hondata tuned i would have guess at least 260-270. Or am I way off on something?

Hahahaha you`ll prob snap the drive shaft with all that torque hahahaha

Yea 240 stock but thats flywheel hp. To the wheels its more like 205 or 200

Yeah I was figuring to the flywheel and generally subtract about 30 hp to the wheels but after looking up the numbers about 205 to the wheels would be correct subtracting the 30hp but I didn`t realize until after I had posted that you had put WHP. I don`t know how I overlooked something in all caps lol. Anyways I have ridden in and drove my buddies and it definitely feels like more hp than the numbers put out, especially once the vtec kicks in. Very clean ride btw.

to measure fwhp to whp, depending on fwd, awd or rwd, you can add about 17-20% drivetrain loss on rwd cars.

hahahaha no worries man thanx for looking and for the compliment

yea i know! DAMN RWD cars. might get a lighter driveshaft, flywheel, etc to help with that loss

Sweet. Thanks for the info. I never got into a lot of mods and tuning mainly due to finances back then but I did hang out in a couple friends shop a lot and kind of just put together an average in my head for all the cars I had seen tuned except for the really high hp cars. Plus that was a few years ago and I don`t remember very much, now I`m driving a gutless 4 door sedan :(

after talking to my tuner he said the only way to really gain power is FI, these engines are almost maxed out. Its just a Honda Accord engine thats bored out and has better internals lol
