I had picked up a free sample of a new version of SONUS Final Fiinish. I did a test panel a while back and did not really like it since it dry out very quickly. It did not have the long work time that Menzerna always has. I switched to PO85RD with the Flex since this always works.

I had used it at speed 5 (this was really maxed out due to the not very precise speed control) and moderate pressure with a LC Black Pad.

I was checking the ACC and the instructions are:

dual-action polisher, apply at ½- to ¾-speed with moderate pad pressure as necessary to achieve results.

I guess this is recommending lower speeds but never seen speeds indicated at 1/2 to 3/4 so assuming 3 to 4.

Anyone have any tips on pads, speeds, pressure with a Rupes 15?

1/2 would equal speed 3 on a standard DA (half of 6)
3/4 would equal between 4 and 5 on a standard DA (three-fourths of 6)

I would start with these settings on a Rupes 15 and back off if necessary.
