I save a Toyota matrix!
Here goes
Washed 2X2
Decon with Iron-x and speedy prep towel
Paint was correct with Rupes LR21, MF Cutting disc and BF SRC Finishing polish(favorite combo with a Rupes I`ve tried so far.) In a cpl places I had to use BF SRC Compound but not many.
LSP was BFWD topped with BFBI(this is a really shiny combo)
Interior, Mytee hp100 for carpets and seats. 4 different size brushes, some APC, and a few towels. Protected with my mystery fabric protect that someone left on my desk a cpl months ago. 303 on all the hard surfaces.

After wash and decon. My test spot! I got about 75% correction with BF SRC Finishing polish.

New LED set up! I like it much better than halogens. They show everything!

Hard to see because my Iphone camera, but the LED was showing way more than sun. I actually did this out side to compare to part I had fixed under LED vs the sun. I saw a lot of stuff under the LED I didnt see out side.

So obviously cant stick a buffer in here but a little compound on a Q-tip fixed the key hole scratches right up!

Ok so you get the ideal with the paint! Polish polish polish, more swirls, more rids. Let see how the inside went down!

GROSS, foot grease possibly mixed with dog poop. APC and stiff scrub brush didn`t touch this...

So I really don`t feel these pics come anywhere close to doing this justice. Just to give you an Ideal the customer walked right past his car into the store. When the cashier sent him back out and I quote "I saw this car and thought no way it could be mine! You`ve got to be kidding me WOW WOW WOW!".
You know it`s not that hard to make someone`s brand new range rover, or Ferrari look amazing it`s the cars like this where the transformation is so over the top insane that you really get a great since of accomplishment. I worked on this car from about 12pm yesterday till almost 1am, then was back at work at 5am still nit picking it when the customer picked it up at 830am. I was annoyed a lil ill admit.. Blown away customer made it all worth it!

Thanks for looking

That`s amazing work Joe!!!

Hey Joe, i`m curious, when I called you a few weeks ago you were telling me that you used microfiber finishing pads with polishes and compounds because in your opinion they cut the same as the cutting pads on the rupes. I`m curious why you used the cutting pad in this instance?

Thanks guys!! This one took some patients. Maybe I just got lazy I`ve been doing soooo many cars with very little miles on them, I forgot what it was like to clean a door jamb with 3 inches of crud in it :rofl

Thanks bro! And to actually I do still use the finishing pad if I`m compounding(M101, FG400, ect...) I use a cutting pad with SRC Finishing to get a little more bite. It really helps IMO.

Great job as always!!!!! Its nice to see cars like this getting the "DARK SIDE" treatment.

I know you did most of your work with a rotary in the past but with the addition of the Rupes.... are you using it less now. Could the Rupes replace a rotary????

Thanks bro! And I don`t think anything will ever replace a rotary. The Rupes is awesome for one stepping, I get better results with it than I do with a rotary on a true one step. Full correction I`ll pick my rotary up real quick. I did a brand new red 458 spyder a couple weeks ago. I did 4 steps on it 3 with a rotary one with a rupes/da. I was going to do the whole car with the Rupes, but after doing my testing in a few spots I honestly thought it was gonna take me way longer than I planned if I kept the coarse with the Rupes. So out came the rotary and my test spots went MUCH better. At the same time the test spot I did on this car with a rotary and well... Out came the Rupes. I guess there`s a place for every machine. Just depends on the varibles. If you wanna play with a Rupes let me know you can come by and use mine! It`s really a cool toy
